[ForHire] Frontend Developer | HTML/CSS/JS/React | $15/hr | Built a browser-based code editor, full-stack social platform, and more
Hey Reddit,
I'm a self-taught frontend developer based in Belgium, looking for internships, freelance work, or junior roles. I've been building real projects for a couple of years now and want to find opportunities to grow with a team.
Rate: $15–25/hr depending on scope. Open to discussing fixed project rates.
**Skills:** HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python (learning), React (learning), Supabase, Arduino/ESP32
**What I've built:**
**Slate** — A Monaco-based browser code editor built from scratch. Vim mode (normal/insert/visual, text objects, registers, marks, command line), syntax highlighting for 10+ languages, custom autocomplete, regex find/replace, live HTML preview, file tree, and auth system. **Campus Connect** — Full-stack social platform launched March 2025. Real-time messaging with swipe-to-reply, voice memos, group video/voice calls, algorithmic feed with polls and mentions, and a built-in gaming page. Built with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Supabase. [Live](https://campus-fenix.lovable.app/)
**Central-Web** — My own web development company (founded 2023), handling client scoping, UI design, and frontend development.
**Other:** LinuxWiki, Flavortown Chrome Extension, 2048, Dice Roller, physics experiment Arduino dashboard, and a designed-but-not-yet-built wireless split keyboard (Ergogen + KiCad + ZMK).
**Currently learning:** JavaScript (deeper), React, Linux (daily driving Manjaro), KiCad for PCB design.
