Your immediate reaction?
From my speculation (imo), I think this hunt will either end very soon, or early next summer.
I have a botg planned later this month, and it will likely (in my estimation) be my last time searching for the treasure. This meaning that if I don’t find it, someone else will find it elsewhere before I am able to go out again.
This reality has made me confront how I would react if the treasure was announced to be found.
This could happen at anytime. Before Im finished typing this, an announcement could go on the website.
There will be no warning. There will only be infinite possibilities until they are immediately constrained to one:
Someone else already figured it out.
It made me curious if anyone else has considered their reaction to when this announcement comes (because it inevitably will) and how yall think you will react?
If I don’t find it, Ill just be sad for a while haha. Not sad that someone else found it, just sad that I wasn’t able to chase down the rest of my leads.
