I've had my a1 mini for two weeks and decided it needs a friend. Also, some of the filament at Best buy is really cheap right now.

The a1 mini has been fantastic but I kept running into print volume issues. I was going to return it and get the P2S but I've heard TPU can be a pain on the P2S. Decided to keep it for TPU and for small prints while the big boy is busy.

Best buy seems have some decent prices on filament right now. PLA and PTEG for $9 and PLA+ and ABS for $12.

Upgrade day for the Fishpro

Items added:

* GC Jet ski trolling motor and battery bracket

* 100ah lithium

* 1100gph bilge

* GT56 Transducer

* SS transducer bracket

I made the transducer bracket too thin, I'll be doubling the thickness and redoing it. Another possibility will be the GC Jet ski ride plate transducer mount.

I'm waiting on the IR-Engineering drain plug replacement with wire pass through.

I need some advice on a solar setup for my shop.

This will be my first solar installation, so I need a little bit of advice.

The building is 12'x25' but will eventually be 24'x50'.

It's at roughly a 5° angle facing North. I will be installing brackets to get the panels to face south, I'm just uncertain if there is an optimal angle for my area? Or should I get them to 5-10° facing south and call it a day. There won't be any shading problems, so I'm assuming stringing would be better for panel connection.

I've heard that if you're install bifacial panels on a non painted metal roof the bottom side will catch the reflection. Is this true? If it is, is it worth it to get bifacial?

The two highest loads will be either the camper or 4 post lift. The camper draws around 1800w when the compressor actually kicks on and I believe the 4 post requires a 20a breaker so less than 2400w (very short period though.) I'm planning on 6 full size panels (2-2.7kW) and 5-10kWh worth of 48v batteries. I feel like that should take care of most of my needs in the shop for now.

I know the 6000/12000xp are highly recommended but does anyone have any experience with Eco-worthy's inverters? How do they match up?

Also, I want the possibility of adding more panels and batteries in the future, should I make the jump to 10k+ inverters even though I won't need it in the beginning?

Lastly, if anyone has any recommendations for certain brands on the batteries, panels, and inverters, please let me know.

The ski has roughly 90 hours.

EDIT - My brother decided to just get it changed so he can start fresh.
