First 3D Printer Ever.. What options SHOULD or SHOULD NOT be selected at checkout?

Buying my first 3D printer. No experience with them. Did my research. Settled on the X2D.
But Bambu throws a LOT at you.

I don't plan on printing anything multi colored.
I just want to make accessories for my outdoor tools, storage systems, maybe some parts for my kayak, and random things.

So here we are:

Yes to the X2D Combo

Then there's a bunch of the filaments under exclusive discounts.
Is that a yes?

Engineering Plate?

I've had my a1 mini for two weeks and decided it needs a friend. Also, some of the filament at Best buy is really cheap right now.

The a1 mini has been fantastic but I kept running into print volume issues. I was going to return it and get the P2S but I've heard TPU can be a pain on the P2S. Decided to keep it for TPU and for small prints while the big boy is busy.

Best buy seems have some decent prices on filament right now. PLA and PTEG for $9 and PLA+ and ABS for $12.

Marketplace BNIB buy or retail?

Had a post a week ago about looking to buy my first 3d printer. I'm kinda leaning towards the P2S or the X2D. Don't have a timeline but could probably wait it out until black friday if there are deals usually to be had OR if new products are dropping which will lower the price of the existing lineup of items.

Anyway, person on marketplace is selling a BNIB X2D with AMS 2 Pro combo for $1100 CDN ($771 USD). My two questions:

Would this be considered a good deal? On paper it looks like it is but you know the deal... trust but verify lol
What should I be on the lookout for when respect to buying something BNIB from marketplace?

I can afford retail pricing without issue but I am human and like to save a buck or two when it's an option :)

What's going on here?

Why is it sometimes my printer prints flawlessly like the first picture. Then there are times it prints horribly like the second picture. What can I do to make sure I get flawless prints everytime?

Filament Clip – Universal Widths

This filament clip fits 4 different widths of spools.

Twist it until it clicks into place.

Squeeze it to release.

It has a wide slot to feed the filament through.

The slot is curved to create enough tension to hold the filament.

How can I make these supports break free easier? (PLA, H2S)

I've printed these pieces in every orientation and finally found a way that all the sides print nearly perfect, but the supports are so grippy that they are basically one piece. Even after using pliers to break away a lot of it, the rest only comes off if it's sanded or ground off.

I'm adding 2 photos of the 2 styles so you can see what I mean, I am happy to add a lot of time and a lot of material to the print to get a supportive base that will break free cleanly.

I've even tried ChatGPT (it solves a LOT of problems, looks at screenshots and photos, for those who haven't tried it yet) but this is the one thing I haven't found a good solution for yet. Thanks in advance!

Separating an object into parts in Bambu Studio along a curved/round surface

I want to print the following object (a large LEGO lantern). I want to print the handle and the top part of the lantern in black PLA and the ball part in transparent glow-in-the-dark orange PLA (for Halloween). I am trying to use the cut tool. I successfully used the cut tool to remove the bottom.

I read that you should not use both regular PLA and glow in the dark PLA through the AMS in the same print because switching between the two will cause the nozzle and tubing to wear out faster than just printing the glow in the dark filament alone. Because of this, I want to remove the handle from the ball where the handle connects to the ball. But the connection is on a round surface. In order to perfectly separate the black PLA from the glow in the dark PLA, how do I use the cut tool to separate pieces on a curved/round surface?
