Grad school at UGA

For context, I’m looking to apply to a few schools, primarily in the field of stats in fall ‘27. I’m also currently finishing up my first masters in analytics at ga tech and I’m wanting to continue grad studies and maybe going into a PhD thereafter (idk yet but I do want to continue my academic career).

Anyone here in a grad program or the one mentioned? How was your experience and how’s the experience of being on campus?

Any info would be wonderful and welcomed!

Anyone in the masters in applied stats program or advice about getting into a grad program here?

As the title states. I am on the fence here on which I should take over the summer. I’m taking Bayes in the fall with whatever other course I decide to not take during the summer semester.

Has anyone taken PM in the summer?
What is regression like during summer?

Thanks!

Hey there,

I’m just now finishing up sim and network science, and I need to know which course in the title I should take with bayes in fall ‘26. I’m taking regression over the summer, so all lines up well.

Anyone taken these classes or both? Which is best? I’m leaning towards PM, but I’d love any insight.

Thanks.
