I have zero sylvaneth models, but I really want some for Warcry. I was browsing my LGS and found this. How does this look as an easy way to get some models just to play with?

I found this in my old Lego collection, and I don't recall ever seeing it before. Anyone have any idea where it's from? It looks very old, I think it used to be white.

Nooby questions about list building

As I near my first 2000pt army (and first actual game of AoS) I have learned that artefacts of power and heroic traits are a thing.

I've also learned that you can only have one of each through the entire army. So my questions are:

1.) I know the answer is probably too in-depth for my noob brain to comprehend right now, but how do you decide what to put where?

2.) Why is Lash of the Sire 20pt? It has a lot of words, all of which seem to amount to "you get to move a lil, as a treat". But it's failable, first and foremost, since it's a 2+ (I know that sounds great but I literally lost four 2+ casting rolls IN A ROW in Spearhead last week). Second, the movement is D6, so you can also whiff that, too. And then the pile in seems like a complimentary bit of flavor text for when the initial ability isn't relevant. That's my completely ignorant take on Lash, but GW clearly thinks it fucks because it's the only one that costs any points.

3.) Terminus Cloak kinda seems neat, and I was thinking about sticking it on a Vamp Lord on Steed, because she'll be going in deep and she could perhaps shut down wizards? Bad idea? Obviously if my opponent has all priests, I can probably swap that out, yeah? Can I swap out my list like that pregame once I know the match up? Or is this like TCGs where you're not allowed to adjust your list until after the first game? *(I'm not planning on going to a tournament any time soon, but I'm just curious. )*

4.) Is happiness a con that I'll chase forever, only to find that any instance of true joy is only a fleeting moment, a day at most, away from the pain that follows me like a shadow that I can never escape?

5.) I have 4x10 deathrattle, what the hell do I do with them? Camp points or something? Bog down the enemy? Screen? A little bit of everything? They feel essential to my army but now I realize that idk wtf to do with any of my units :') I should probably make my Wight King take that trait that makes Deathrattle better, though.

My list is probably bad but it's what I can afford/reasonably get atm, though I may end up with some more Blood Knights and Vargheists.

Here's the link in case anyone wants to tell me where I've gone wrong: https://www.newrecruit.eu/app/list/zmxjA

I just built my first 2000pt lost for AoS and I was super duper excited to get it! But I just read that Terrorgheust is going to legends and I was wanting to use one! What now?

I know it's probably a shitty list anyway, so I'm not too worried about the power level *too much*. But I love Lauka Vai, and I'm planning on her being the centerpiece to my army. (Which is mostly skeletons, so a total flavor failure, I know, but I'm working with some constraints here.)

The issue is that the only other monster I can use her with is the Revenant Draconith... And boy, is that thing much much more expensive. Truth be told, the reason I went with the Terrorgheust is that it's far cheaper and as a unit, it seems to still be pretty good.

I guess I'm happy I didn't actually buy one, or Lauka Vai yet, but I'm pretty sad. I'm still learning how AoS works, and I'm not tuned in with all the goings-on with how GW does this stuff.

Why is it in legends? I don't understand the logic here.

Pls reddit, give me your wisdom.

I'm passively working on my first real army for AoS Maggotkin, and I just read what the Putrid Blightkings do 💔💔💔

(most of this is a bit of a rant, but you can skip to my question lower down)

I got the Bleak Host Spearhead box last November and the Blightkings in it absolutely fuck. They're probably my favorite sculpts in the box, and I was so happy to see what they do in actual AoS...

Um.... what the fuck?

I've never played full AoS, so I'm not sure how to gauge these things... But I'm honestly so disappointed because they read to me like an assassin unit, that has four movement... And they're these big boys with loads of flesh and stuff, and they have a 5+ save and a 6+ ward in NURGLE?

Money is tight for me but I've had the good fortune of being able to invest in more Warhammer the past few weeks, so I really wanted to move into full AoS! And GW broke my damn heart!

So I'm sorta wondering how y'all feel about them? Are they so bad that I genuinely shouldn't include them in a full army, or can I get away with them by coping or something? I'm still not made of money, so the less I have to buy, the better. I'd like to keep my Blightkings :(

I need help with making a simple piston set up

God I used to be so good at this 😂😭

In my survival world, I'm trying to make a little stair doorway thing, it's not really important what it is, I just don't know how to achieve the effect I want with Redstone logic.

I have a continuous Redstone signal (from a lever) that I can turn on or off to open/close the door. There are two pistons that collide with each other, so they need to activate at different speeds so I don't get things all out of sorts.

So right now, I've got it so that when I open the door, Piston A activates first, and then Piston B activates slightly later due to a delayed repeater. Wonderful!

However, after building this I realized that I need it to work the opposite way in closing the door! So I need B to (de)activate first this time, and A to (de)activate second. But as it stands now, the delayed input for B also means that it's slightly delayed at losing the signal too. And that just won't do.

I'm sure this is super simple but I can't figure it out. Can the funny people in my phone tell me what to do?

(I skipped girl dinner tonight, so I think my chakras are all off or something. That or I'm just not on top of Minecraft like I was as a kid. Oh dear, I'm almost 30.)

Is the mortal side of the faction worth it to any degree?

I've yet to play the full game, I've only done Spearhead with the first Maggotkin sprarhead and the two SBGL ones.

I want to play the full game with both those factions, and after seeing the new Bubonic Cell Spearhead I thought that the Rotmire subfaction is super cool.

Like, if I bought the Bubon Cell Spearhead to compliment the other Spearhead, and then round it out for whatever I need for 2000 points, is that a bad idea?

I've heard so many bad things about the Rotmire and all that, but since I've never played the full game of AoS, I'm a bit lost on why that is.
