Best allies for Warplock Jezzails?

Hey all,

I've been trying to find a good way to use jezzails, but haven't really found anything other than Ashen Elder's triple that gives +1 Attack and Strength, or the spire tyrants leaders triple for adding extra attack after he kills something.

Is there any other way to buff up the sniper rats?

Stormcast Thunderstrike Warband ⚡️

Finished up my Celestial Vindicators recently!
I couldn’t decide between a Vindictor or a Vanquisher so I’ve painted them both up for easy switching out while I trial them. Hoping the lists work because I’m not sure I fancy painting up any more Stormcast for a long while 😅

C&C welcome!

Questor Soulsworn in the Realm of Chaos

Kitbashed my Questors from various stormcast sets but mostly liberators, prosecutors and retributors.

Tried a more rag-tag setup for the team that each of the soulsworn was an experianced warrior who has joined up for a single cause.

The amazing background is by E. Lazdane

How many Warcry players play Narrative play?

I ask this cause im wondering if I finish this app if I should share it with the wider world or keep it between my friend groups(obviously this would be a free app )

And overall curios about the state of narrative as a whole

I ask so I know how much I need to plan to learn.

I am slowing creating an app to make playing Narritve play easier it will allow the tracking of all your stuff quest progression, encampment, glory each fighter card is fully customizable and will have access to all the heroic traits, artifacts and injuries so its easy to track whats happned to which model

Let's keep the game alive - last saturday Warkraj 2026 tournament in Warsaw

I started the hobby like half a year ago and this was my first tournament ever. Great atmosphere, awesome players, fun mission, some matched play but without the stifness of "ultra pro ranked players" It was so worth it and I hope to play in another edition next year and see more of you guys and girls.

Here some photos from the organisers for interested: https://warkraj.pixieset.com/warkraj2026/

Does the center point count as an objective?

I'm confused what counts as an actual objective in the matched play maps. Almost all of the new ones have a center point, but then, there is a map that doesn't even use objectives except ones placed by players, so why is there a center point there? And then there IS a map with objectives, but no center point. any clarification on this would be appreciated.

Wyrdcry

Test piece for my Mordheim inspired Warcry board. I have enough printed for a game of Wyrdcry and am excited for some of the bigger pieces.

Additional pics and angles - SH Terrain

Apologies for the spam but I was too much of a noob to figure out how I could add more pictures to my original post, so I just made a new one 😅

I basically started by making the "crossbeams" so they line up with the pillars and then just use PVA to glue the "planks" on there.

Then I messed them up a bit with a file and some pliers and then gave them a brown base and a redish-brown drybrush on top and then glued the "roof" to the plastic using universal glue (UHU glue I think it's called).

I only slightly modified the the terrain by removing a few bits from the sides, bit that was to add to some 3D prints I wanted to fit with these. I've also included.

The wood is just basic Coffee stirrers.

Spearhead Terrain, now climbable

Finally got around to finish the previous spearhead Terrain, but had to add some roofs to make them climbable... Cos if you can't climb your terrain, why even have it??

Love the details on this set, now I just have to find some other buildings to add to have a full board

Where are all the Warbands??

Hey, sorry if this has been asked before or is common knowledge within the community, but… why are most warbands not available anymore? I was looking for the Scions of the Flame and they are super hard to come by, seemingly many other warbands as well…

Are they hibernating and just waiting to be re-released with a rule update? Or are they gone for good?

Meme list or will it work?

I’ve played only a couple(literally a couple. 2 of them) games of warcry, none of which were on slaaneshi.

So I’m gonna run in there with this list. It’s pretty silly and I wonder what the professionals think of it.

To be honest, I’m gonna take it anyway, I just wanna know if the list is silly or I’m accidentally meta chasing:)

Anyway, here’s the list:

```
----------
"A man and his goats"
Hedonites of Slaanesh: Sybarites
975pts | 5 fighters | Valid ✓
- Slaangor Slake-horn (225pts, Hero)
- Vasillac the Gifted (200pts, Hero)
- Slakeslash (200pts)
- Slaangor Fiendblood (175pts)
- Slaangor Fiendblood (175pts)
----------
Suggestion: The soulblight gravelords should be splitted in more sub-factions with their unique trait.
Stay with me for a second, we have so many cool "Themes" Skeletons, Zombies, Vampires.
And the trait helps only the vampires.
If you want to make some thematic warbands they basically have all the same abilities.
I don't mean something like another faction.
I mean something like the flesh eaters and the royal beastflayers.
Or the kruelboyz and the kruelboyz monsta-killaz.
Like, "Kings of the death" and you put inside the son of velmorn and the Skeletons.
Or Children of the night and put inside every vampire.
The minions have their unique faction, like gobbapalooza, and when added they act like ally. If you add minions and have no vampires you want Deathless minion as a trait anyway.
Basically you choose your necromancer faction and then add minions.
Sorry guy a little rant because the soulblight has so many cool models but you end up basically play always the same faction.
My first warband, the Slaves to Catness!
After learning that you can simply use your AoS modes to make a warband, I convinced a couple of people in my LGS to try warcry -- and how much fun that was!
Here's my little warband, built around and named after the Sphiranx, which is probably my favourite model in the StD range. Also added two pictures from the ensuring games.
I love how intuitive and straightforward the basic rules are, and how quick the game is a result. Keeping all the abilities in mind took a round or two, but adds a nice layer of decisions to each turn. Definitely won't be the last time I played!
Warcrier and GW pdf points diferences
https://preview.redd.it/nz5s3xnu0k1h1.png?width=1142&format=png&auto=webp&s=dde37d635a0d9bbbf9b80558b27b1e5f9fb57669
Okay, I'm a bit confused: Warcry was updated a while ago, and Warcrier is legit for creating lists, including tournament lists, so where do these point differences come from? Which points are real? Are the yellow ones from the GW PDF file (Warhammer community) or the red ones from Warcrier?
What about the official rules and points for named models from Underworlds? Where can I find an official source?
