How many vocabs do you need to know to stop hating the Thai writing system for not having spaces?

Fyi not seriously hating on the language btw, it's just pure frustration lol Got frustrated with Japanese too for the lack of spaces and the 3 different writing systems but it starts making sense at a certain proficiency.

So I'm just wondering, when will this happen with Thai? Do you just need to know enough vocab? Or do you need to know enough vocab AND grammar? Or will it still be confusing to separate words even at the intermediate/advanced level?

Any there any good N + 1 Anki decks with audio for commonly used Thai words?

N + 1 meaning it uses that word in a sentence where you already likely knows all the words except the one that you're trying to memorize. When I was learning Japanese there were these type of decks called Core 2k/6k/10k where it's (allegedly) the most commonly used Japanese words. There are also other kinds of N + 1 decks like to learn vocab for a specific anime, light novel etc...It's very helpful and I still review the cards to this day.

Is there anything similar for Thai? Thanks in advance.

Any success story from those learning Thai because of Thai GL?

I am having severe Enemies with Benefits withdrawal and so went down the JanJingJing rabbit hole in twitter and youtube but getting increasingly annoyed that most of the videos don't have Eng subs and even if it claimed it does, it's so, so, soooo bad. Only good subs are the short edited clips but I want to watch the full videos.

Anyway, decided to take matters into my own hands and try learning Thai myself but it's really hard. I learned Japanese to read Yuri novels and manga since it's another media that's scarcely translated but I feel like Thai is even harder than Japanese, which is actually crazy since I thought Japanese is already hard enough.

I need some success story motivation. Has anyone here successfully learned Thai to the point that they can watch Thai GL content without subs? How long did it take you?

Are there universally agreed way of how to start learning Thai?

What I mean is, for example, when learning Japanese, the Genki/Quartet/Tobira books is the most recommended path to get into at the very least, intermediate Japanese. I'm just wondering if there's something like that for learning Thai?

Also, is there an app like Duolingo (Android only please, I don't own an iphone) to get started on learning the Thai writing system? It's not a very good app for seriously learning Japanese but the gamification is very effective in helping me to memorize Katakana and Hiragana. Thai's alphabets look hella intimidating. I thought the Japanese writing system is already hard with the kanji and all, but after watching a bit of Thai introductory videos, Thai looks even harder to learn than Japanese...

Thanks in advance.

Had a £85m bid accepted for a player from Everton, player rejected contract, few days later was informed Everton in financial crisis, however bid still locked at £85m until another club made a bid, ended up getting him for £10m. The transfer system in FM is so wack

So after my first and second bid was rejected, sent a 3rd one, £80m+£5m after 5 league games, finally accepted... then on to contract negotiations. I removed yearly wage rise and wages after X league games, and the agent straight up refused to negotiate any more, despite having a long patience bar.

A few days later, was informed that Everton is in a financial crisis. When I bid on this kid, there's no other clubs interested. However, after Everton's financial crisis, suddenly there's a long list of big clubs interested in him, and I realized it's because he has been transfer listed. You know how selling clubs refuse to negotiate the price after you have had a bid accepted before? Yeah, Everton still has that despite being in financial crisis. His price is still locked to £85m for me.

My £85m bid was accepted on 25th August. There's a week left before the transfer window shut. I regretted to no end about removing wages after X league games because normally the player would refuse to even enter contract negotiations if you try again so soon after the first attempt. I googled a lot on how to get them to negotiate with you again while hoping none of the other clubs interested in him make a bid. Came across a comment that said you should declare him as a top target...a long shot but I tried it anyway. On my shortlist page, I always check whether he's interested in a transfer or not, and his name is always missing if I filter the shortlist by transfer interest.

So, under the impression he still doesn't want to enter contract negotiations with me, I went back to hoping no other clubs make a bid. But Chelsea did. With fee raising to nearly £10m. I was shocked, because prior to that, my bid was still locked to £85m. So I tried my luck and bid £10m. Surprisingly, it got accepted.....and the player is willing to enter contract negotiation! But here's the catch, he won't accept any less than "Star Player". I guess that's the result of declaring him as a top target. But it's whatever to me since I have like 3 world class players in his position, so I'm confident I can persuade him to accept less playing time later. The best part is the agent didn't even ask for wages after X league games.

The rejected contract ended up a blessing in disguise as I got the player for £10m instead of £85m. Thanks to Chelsea, because I think his fee will be locked for £85m for a while if no AI club make a bid even though Everton is in financial crisis...still not sure whether declaring him as a top target is why he's willing to enter contract negotiations again. I thought you needed to wait at least 2 weeks after the first rejection.

FM24 - Is there somehow a way to check your achievements if you play it through epic games?

The "Game Achievements" option is greyed out in the Epic Games launcher. There is no way to check your achievements nor even the list of FM24 achievements itself. I assume this has been the case since FM26 came out and FM24 was taken out from the store?

However, a few days ago, I suddenly got a notification while playing FM24 that I completed an achievement. So, the achievements mechanic must still be working somehow. Is there a way to check it, like a log or something through the game folder/files? So annoying, this didn't happen with steam. Achievements is a big motivation for me to continue playing.

This guy's hidden stats: 17 Professionalism 13 Ambition. 173 PA.

He went on loan at Sporting which iirc has State of the Art training facilities. Got 7+ ratings. Only sorta long injuries is 4 weeks which he got only once, other injuries less than 7 days.

So here's the thing...his CA barely improves while at Sporting, and is stuck at 164 for a while. After I brought him back (ofc my facilities and coaches are great), even when he's on insane form this 30/31 season, his CA is still stuck at 164 (and now he's injured).

I don't get it. Normally, players who don't reach their PA at this age are either ones with big gaps between CA and PA, those that don't get lots of game time or has low professionalism. But he got all the requirements to hit his PA. Only thing I can think of is 13 Ambition but it's still pretty decent, no?
