So my wife's best friend is in an abusive situation with a man she has a child with, they aren't together but they live together with the child and his teenage children

Her son is only 4 years old but he has witnessed her being beaten by him and verbally abused while his teenage children watch and laugh and sometimes join in the abuse

Tonight she was physically attacked by the man while her son watched and cried and she left with the son, The father shortly called the police to report him as being kidnapped and then destroyed her car (she wasn't driving it)

She's back in the house now out of fear and my wife doesn't want to call DOCS because she thinks her friend would know she did it and resent her for it but I am worried we will find out one day She's been murdered along with her son

So what should I do? Do I make an anonymous call and deny it or keep my mouth shut to maintain my wifes friendship
