Can I pass on nuts?
Hello everyone! I am considering getting a hermit crab and I am trying to do a lot of research about their care before I pull the trigger. I know that they need a varied diet and that pet-store pellets are a no no. I am looking at the mixes from snout and shell. I know crabs need protein among other things and they can get that from nuts, but I am highly allergic to peanuts and treenuts and would prefer not to handle those nor have them in my house.
The protein mix from snout and shell contains this,
- NATURAL INGREDIENTS – Made with Krill, Sprouted Sorghum, Black Soldier Fly Larvae, Silkworm Pupae, Sprouted Millet, Mealworms, Sprouted Quinoa, Bloodworms, Daphnia, Crickets, and Chia seed.
Is that varied enough for them protein wise?
(I know they need other stuff that protein and I would also provide that as well)
