Each number below is built from the two numbers above it using the same hidden rule, all the way down to the number at the bottom. Figure out the rule from the pattern, then find the first missing number (highlighted).

Each group of three numbers on the left maps to the middle number by a consistent hidden rule. Use the four known examples to find the pattern, then solve for the missing output.

Each group of four numbers on the outside combines into the one it's connected to by lines. In this one, the "?" is one of the outer numbers — work out the rule from the first three groups, then figure out what's missing.
Original number pattern puzzle I made — find the hidden rule connecting each pair, then figure out what's missing (see image).

Each pair of numbers combines into the number below using the same rule. Figure out the rule from the first three pairs, then solve the last one.
Each spoke on the wheel follows the same hidden rule. Figure it out from the nine known numbers, then solve for what replaces the "?"

Each hexagon connects to the next one in a chain, all following the same rule. Figure out the rule from the first four, then find what replaces the "?".
No arithmetic tricks needed, just careful observation. Drop your rule + answer in the comments.

I've been building a puzzle game called Rule Hunter — each level gives you a
few example pairs and you have to figure out the hidden rule connecting them,
then apply it to solve the final case.
Here's one from the Normal difficulty:
3 → 9
5 → 25
8 → 64
7 → ?
What's the rule, and what's the answer?
