Hi, I am new and moving from stremio to nuvio. I have looked for the answer on this subreddit everywhere, but I can't seem to find out how? I have tried finding the downloader app and tizenbrew app but I don't have them on my tv. How do I download nuvio to my samsung TV? I don't have a firestick. Many thanks

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we all quietly avoid admitting how insufferable parts of any fandom can become, but it’s worth talking about.

I’ve been a One Piece fan for a long time now. For the most part, it always felt like a fairly respected community. One Piece itself has always been widely praised as a manga/anime for its storytelling, worldbuilding, and emotional depth.

But around 2021–2022, I feel like there’s been a massive surge in new fans. Don’t get me wrong, in many ways that’s a great thing. I’m genuinely glad my favourite piece of fiction has reached so many people.

That said, some parts of the newer wave of fans can be… exhausting.

A lot of the discussion now seems less focused on what made One Piece special in the first place (the storytelling, themes, and long-term payoff), and more on power scaling, agenda debates, and nonstop “agenda piece” style memes. I get that memes have always been part of the fandom, and honestly some of them are funny. I’m not against jokes or light-hearted content at all.

But sometimes it feels like that side of the fandom has taken over the conversation completely, to the point where everything gets reduced to agenda wars or reaction clips rather than actual discussion of the story.

On top of that, it feels like Oda gets way more criticism and negativity than he used to, even though his health hasn’t been great for a while now.

Maybe I’m just noticing the loud minority, or maybe this is just what happens when something gets more popular. Curious what others think, am I overthinking this? Or has the fandom genuinely shifted?
