Hey everyone! Wanted to see if anybody had any recommendations for bands similar to Samothrace? Wish I could have seen them live back in the day! I have also been really into Fórn lately and wouldn’t mind some recommendations based off that band. Thanks!
Excited to see OLING release on TNH and Anjunadeep earlier this year as well. His tunes on Jeremy Olander’s label are always a treat. Hyped to see a track like Spacer released on TNH. Would love to see more 7-8 minute tracks signed like this!
A true DJ set and an absolute treat! Paris and Daniel looked like they were having so much damn fun! I can’t imagine how refreshing it was for Daniel to play a set like that, absolutely unrestricted. They played everything from minimal melodic techno to proper progressive house. Only 5 or 6 Lane 8 tracks from what I remember (including How Often- Just Her Remix, The Choice- Paris Remix, IWLALO- S+S Remix, and No Captain). I was so hyped to hear two Guy J tracks and some tracks from Sasha’s label, Last Night on Earth.
The stand out was Paris playing 10 years from Now, from her first release on TNH. Been waiting for that since Lane 8’s first RR show.
Bravo! I was floored. They taught us a lesson in how to create a journey of a set. Was sad they had to turn down the volume after 10pm, but it was special when everyone was lightly singing along to No Captain as the last track.
