Why YSK- it is painful and a little scary to put them right on top of your pupil! The best way to do it is to look to the side, place the contact on the large white area (your sclera), blink, and your contact will be magically centered and you’re good to go! I’ve seen a lot of people put it directly on the pupil and there’s no need.

Putting it directly on your pupil is a little scary because, you know, something is coming right at your eye, and it’s very sensitive and can be uncomfortable or downright painful!

Wildfire smoke from Canada is thick today, and I’m unable to pick up any channels. Is this the factor?

I’m visiting from the Northeast where every highway is Mad Max on the Fury Road. But here? No one camps in the left lane, people politely zipper in when there’s a lane closure, everyone drifts over to the left lane when an onramp is merging onto the highway, and the 80mph speed limit is a delight. Keep it up Idaho!
