Hi everyone!

I'm new to collage and just finished my first piece. I'd love some honest feedback and advice.

Right now I have the basic tools (craft knife, cutting mat, paper trimmer, scissors, ruler, tweezers, glue stick) and I'm building my image library with 1950s advertising books, sci-fi comics, technology magazines, plus some science and nature magazines.

I'm also curious about your creative process:

Do you start with an idea and then look for images? Or do you collect interesting images first and let the idea come afterwards?

Any tips for a beginner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
