Loving the two tone look!

Loving the two tone look!

Just added some cordura grip tape (coyote color darkened with wood stain pens) and it helps satisfy that classic "wood" grips look. I'm tempted to color in the center black to go for that original RE4 Silver Ghost look that I've always wanted to build.

Form 1 SBR Approved in just 7 days!

Hey guys, it looks like they might be rushing VA Form 1s through, I submitted 6/16 and just got the approval today 6/23. I honestly wasn't expecting it to come back until after the ban but figured I'd submit anyway in case that changes anything down the line. If you've been holding off then I really recommend pushing it through and hope for the best. I had been averaging 60+ days wait time before this so I'm glad it came through. Here's some pictures of my SBR, MPA Defender (MAC-10 clone)

Picked up one of my grail guns!

Full size stainless USP in 9MM. I'm in love with it. I'm curious if anyone can give me more information about these, I know they seem to be the most desirable version in stainless and I'm seeing sold prices anywhere from $1200 to $3200. It's hard to find any for sale though so I'm not sure if those prices are really accurate. Are there publicly available production numbers for these? I'd love to learn everything I can about it.

Just finished my latest project on converting some wood CETME furniture to fit my AP5. Took a few hours of trimming the handguard down to the shape and size I wanted along with modifying the stock cap to fit but it was so worth it. If anyone else is interested in this then now is the time, CETME parts kits are cheap and plentiful. I found some grip tape that is a close match in color to help tie it in, but I'll be playing around with the idea of using the CETME trigger housing so I would be able to get an actual wood grip on here to match. I'm also planning on putting a FRT in here as well so finding a way to achieve a wood grip with a FRT that isn't the AR15 grip lower is a future project of mine. Now to find a straight magazine to fulfill that retro look...

Just got approved last night, this is my Heritage Settler Mare's Leg in .22LR. Seems like I might be the first as they had to research my submission. Ideally I wanted to get a stock for the Settler Compact and put it on this one but they are not sold separately and Heritage wouldn't sell me one either. I found a stock for the Rossi Rio Bravo and refinished the wood to get it "close" in color to the wood on mine, but it's not quite there. For now I consider this project done but I'll still be looking for that stock in the hopes to have a better color match. I love the idea of being able to switch between a short rifle and a Mare's Leg set up.
