Help from partial droppers in college required!!

Hey everyone,

I’m in a massive dilemma right now regarding whether I should take a full drop, a partial drop from DU, or a partial drop from my hometown. I am a General candidate with CW Quota Priority 6 (Children of Ex-Servicemen) targeting B.Com (Hons).

My raw score is 856/1000 (roughly 656/800 for DU metrics), and the breakdown honestly hurts because I know I underperformed due to factors completely out of my control:

Accountancy: 238/250 (Two silly errors, easily fixable)
Economics: 238/250 (Same as accounts, conceptually rock-solid)
BST: 202/250 (Messed it up bad. Lowest I’ve ever scored. My after-boards mocks and PYQs were consistently 240+)
English: 178/250 (Got hit by the infamous May 31st technical glitches. Writing in 45-degree heat with no fan, combined with raw grammar errors and my own neglect, absolutely tanked my 220 average)

Cons: Managing DU's attendance policies & college academics while keeping up with CUET prep.

Option C: Take a partial drop from my hometown

Pros: Get admitted to a local government college to keep my graduation on track, but stay home with maximum free time to study for CUET.
Cons: Miss out on a year of DU exposure, networking, and the corporate environment that pairs well with my CFA aspirations.
