It’s fixed but…..
So I got a new screen for my 40 pin motherboard and all went well until the fitting process lmao. Same size as my previous screen but my old screen had this plastic bracket that came with it, not sure if this will help since this is a completely different screen or not. Just wondering if anyone has ideas to patch this up lol. Don’t even care if I have to resort to double sided black tape honestly

I got a new motherboard and replaced my broken one. The GBA turned on but the screen was black, assuming cause I didn’t connect the IPs screen ribbon cable correctly. I reconnected it and now the gba power light is flickering green and not coming on at all. I am using alkaline batteries, should I try lithium batteries? Could that be the reason why it isn’t working?

Help
So my modded GBA has broken (the motherboard). I ordered a new gba to swap motherboards and it will be arriving early June. Will I need tape/adhesive for the screen? Or can I leave the screen intact to the current adhesive while I swap out the motherboards?
