Think I'm sold on the 2.7L Turbomax. Question is, get a '26 or wait for the '27?

After hours of research, im sold on the 2.7L Turbomax. Seemingly the most reliable GM engine right now & will tow anything i will need to tow (mainly 4500lb camper). The only thing that has me weary about this pickup is the 8-speed transmission. So the question is, try & grab a discounted '26 while they make room for the '27, or get a '27 with the 10-speed transmission?

Thoughts on a 2020 RST?

Looking at potentially pulling the trigger on a 2020 RST with 70k miles for $30k. It has the 5.3L V8, would use it for towing a camper. Currently in a 2013 Tahoe.

Pic 2, theres a little rust (or something) on the silver plate. How do i clean that? Or just let er ride? Best practices with this? Ie, where to store/use it? Okay to put on a deck, or should it go below the deck & pulled out for use? How to clean it, inside & out? Its been sitting in her garage & yes its in prestine condition but a little dusty & i misteknly had it in the garage while doing a project today, so it got some saw dust on it. Do i need to use pit boss pellets, or can i use other? Lastly, easiest & favorite thing to make? While i worked in a BBQ kitchen in college, thats was yeeeeaaarrrss ago.

Thanks in advance!
