Update on the 1,000 quick charge leaf while we're posting 30kwh cars.

Struggles in the cold but drives fine in normal temps. Its been very low miles starting this year given I dont have the money, time, or in good enough health to replace suspension components and brakes. Its my daily driver so I gotta prioritize its functionality at all cost's. Chademo chargers have also been becoming more scarce.

Do note the cold picture is 6/12 bars but the dash hadn't updated due to cold until 5 months later.

Stats "for the record":

-Pack is mostly balanced and stays that way even on interstate, but variance starts to scatter (80mv+) earlier around 20-30% battery. Middle rear stack and top of front stacks most degraded.

-Full motor power at normal temps.

-Max regen 30kw at room temp. 40kw at 110F

-40F Max charge speed 15kw with a quick 20kw burst. 10kw by 50%. L2 speeds or worse by 70%

-Room temp Max charge speed 35kw and quickly tapers to around 25kw. By 50% its 25kw or less. By 70% its around 10kw.

-110F Max charge speed 47kw until 40%. 40kw until 50%. 25kw at 70%

For reference, she used to rip 50kw until 80-90% at 80F

-In the cold due to motor power limits and/or concentration polarization dropping pack voltage after 2 mins:

-Unable to do interstate below 50F (batt temp)

-Unable to do highway under 45F

-Unable to do anything below 5-10F

The car spent the first 3 years of its life in the desert. Then it moved to the midwest. The previous owner quick charged it a lot. I drove it 100-150 miles a day for my job for years until recently.

My second critique on Daybreak (and this patch)

The good:

-I like the revisions to the duo lane, jungle pathing, buff changes, etc.

-The verticality is great, while still offering plenty of pathing for heroes who dont have it.

-I havent played mid much but the middle alley to the buffs and pathing in general feels much better than before.

-I like the new lighting on the heroes and in some other areas of the game, along with new hero art.

-The UI/art before the match is FAR better than before.

- I still like the size of the towers.

The bad:

-Some colors or outfits look slightly off with the new lighting and need a slight touch up. Things like Phase witch skin in the red variant looks too black and shaded wrong.

-Sometimes it feels like you're perma slowed, but only in certain areas. The size of the map is great, but the scale feels off sometimes. Paragon had a similar issue. I do understand giving everyone move speed to compensate may not be be a proper fix. Adding details to the map may help this issue a bit by making it feel less empty and massive, but I still feel like it will feel too slow. Or perhaps the fix really is give everyone a 3% speed increase and it doesn't really affect the gameplay. IDK.

There are plenty of mobility options to help you get around. Movement isnt the issue. Just the feeling. I do remember when we had Legacy for a bit I think you got a slight move speed bonus when out of combat to help. Which isnt a perfect fix but it eliminated this problem entirely.

-Id prefer for eternals stats to hover with the mose as I go to select. I like to click one, then hover over another to compare what they offer. Similar to the item system in-game when going to select items.

-I dont like the invisible bushes placement in offlane. They just dont feel like they belong, and if you fight a ranged hero in offlane they can infinitely poke you, hit the wave, and take no minion aggro as they hide from a distance.

-Maybe my internets been crazy but the servers have been really laggy lately. Game will freeze like it lost connection for a few seconds then resume. Multiple times a match. Usually when you go and do something. Some games are far worse than others. Some games are problem-free.

-Yins healing feels out of control. I really think anti heal needs a rework, or anti heal needs to stack so you can actually fight that crap if you're equipped with multiple anti heal items or abilities.

-Please oh please bring back Legacy towers. I also say this from a design standpoint because the current turret shooters look small and flimsy compared to the towers actual size. Legacy towers also looked cool.

-The doors that open on the inhibs need to be more clearly marked. I've had multiple times I either forgot they where there, or in the heat of the moment had to stop and think a second where the door was. It kinda blends in with the rest of the wall easily. I do understand this is probably an issue that will get fixed when the map gets touched up and details added.

-I still think tower damage needs to be true damage and scale the longer you stay. As a maxed out greystone I can literally stand and take tower shots for an entire minute and not die if I build tank. Thats literal insanity I dont care how beefy I am.

Overall I think this is a fantastic step in the right direction and really utilizes the unique features predecessor has to offer compared to other mobas. People dont want to play "just another moba". They want to try and love something different.

My opinion:

If you perfect this map and make it the main one Ill stop complaining about bringing legacy back. Although I'd still prefer Legacy as an option for a slightly slower game mode, especially if or when we have the players for it. Like nitro but the opposite.

-Legacy for longer games. Game speed slowed down slightly. Sustain and strategy matters much more than having the bigger gun or slightly better fighting skills.

-Daybreak for standard.

-ARAM for a faster action-packed game

I hate to burn sanctuary like that but unless there's a demand for it I feel like ARAM would be the better option for a faster brawl-like game mode assuming people are liking that. Or an ARAM where you can select your hero, but you can only choose a hero that fits the role you choose. If people are liking Nitro more then nitro on sanctuary makes sense.

-I also think we need simple short tutorials on how to play each role. Tips, tricks, how some systems work. Something that would greatly help a newer player understand the game or where they're going wrong. Otherwise they get thrown into the shark tank and yelled at by a$$holes because there's a gap in their knowledge.

-I'd prefer the invisible bushes to be slightly shorter on duo lane. Shave off the length on the tower side. High risk high reward if you utilize them properly.

-The "Cancel" button when matchmaking needs to be more obvious. Or perhaps also put it by the wait time on the bottom. It seems like some people dont know its there and wait for a full lobby to hit decline to get out of the lobby. Even im guilty of not actively noticing the cancel button sometimes. My eyes are at the bottom of the screen looking at matchmaking progress. Or maybe im stupid.

Im leaving Pixel Phones after the death of my 7A because they've become overpriced junk

I've gotten absolutely tired of my pixel over the last two years and im giving up on it for another brand. After 2 years my 7A's battery randomly decided to swell up and press the back cover partly off. Contacted google to see if its covered under their extended repair program or warranty. Denied on both fronts. No, your battery is supposed to NOT destroy itself after two years of use. In fact its never supposed to and a battery ideally should last at least 5 years before its degraded enough to warrant replacement. Even my 8 year old Nokia 6.1's battery is still fine and holds a good charge.

I bought this phone for longevity. Durable build. Years of software support. Yet two years later the software has gone downhill compared to the past, and the phone self-destructs.

-Software has become more buggy than ever, with some bugs being present for years now. My camera buttons are below the nav bar on my 7A, but not on my 6A. Never fixed. Voice typing doesnt work or gets stuck 60% of the time and its just faster to manually type than screw with it.

-Camera (as of about year+ ago) now over-processes photos in a more bland style, whereas the old software was more real and true to what you see.

-Phone overheats when recording video

-Phone charges slowly

-Battery life is poor unless using battery saver, which basically doubles battery life. Why cant I get that battery life during normal usage?

-Sometimes gets a worse cell tower connection inside buildings or in areas and BURNS through battery keeping that poor 5G connection.

Its all the little things that add up to a horrible experience overall.

Anyways any phone recommendations? I mostly care about a decent camera that takes pictures as accurately as possible and I would like at least 35w charging if not faster. Im not a power user and dont use my phone too often. Currently looking at Samsung or OnePlus.

Anyone ever had a tapping sound from front when going in reverse?

Beyond 100K miles. Almost like a metal tapping noise when going in reverse below 8mph. Nothing like wheel bearing. Noise speeds up or slows down with wheel speed. Sometimes the noise doesnt show up. Rarely shows up when going forward. just reverse.

Changed the CV axles and the noise mostly went away for a week but slowly came back. Hasnt gotten much worse for the last 3 months since it started to show up.

Checked the brakes on drivers side, where it sounds like the sounds from, and lower caliper sliding pin was seized. Cleaned and re-greased pins and bores. Replaced boot. Driver and passenger side. Everything moves as it should now. However sound came back worse sounding like it did pre-cv replacement after the brake job. Also note I did the drivers side first and didnt put the rubber end on the sliding pin and took it for a drive. wasnt that bad. did the passenger side and put the rubber end on the driver side pin and the sound was back. Drivers side inner pad was worn slightly more than outer and wear was at a slight angle.

It brakes and drives normally otherwise although I havent taken it on the interstate since CV replacement.

Has anyone had this issue before? Sounds like brakes. Theoretically is the brakes. Probably just needs new pads, rotors, that are actually flat and new brake hardware but im getting tired of chasing this noise and worrying about it.

I also know my sway bar bushings need replaced but they weren't too bad this winter and usually quiet up in the summer. And surely they arent making this noise.

Edit: Did the brakes today. Went to walmart tonight. Temperature cooled down a good 15F from today but its never had a trend with temp. Regardless it made it to walmart and back with 0 noise. Even backing out of the driveway nothing.

Literally sometimes random unless I get super lucky and something may of shifted enough to silence it for now. Was making sound when i parked it.

Feedback on Daybreak from a vet that specifically returned to play it.

Played Paragon since its inception and played Predecessor for 3~ years until I took a break 6 months ago due to health issues and lots of work. I will admit I unfortunately didnt get to play Daybreak as much as I would of liked but still enough to get a feel for it.

The pros:

-I like the physical size of the map. It feels big enough so you cant walk across it in seconds and have time to plot strategy if you know where everyone is, but feels small enough so you're not running cross-country to get anywhere. I would still prefer to have a map like Legacy as an option along with Daybreak for people like me who like a longer, slower, game more focused on endurance and strategy. However Daybreak feels like a good mix of both size and strategy wise.

-I love the idea of the invisible bushes, similar to the old shadow pools. I like their placement in the duo lane as you can use them to poke at the enemy or conceal your position for any reason, but it forces you to push up and potentially be in danger if they want to walk at you.

-I dont know if the towers are actually bigger, but they feel bigger. Which makes them more of a threat for the enemy and more of a pillar of safety for your lane. Sanctuary towers always felt too small both for defense and offense. They barely felt like they're there. Daybreak towers actually feel like structures on the map you have to think about.

-I like the verticality of the map, and I like how offlane is setup more like an open dueling ground.

-NO FOG WALLS. I will forever advocate for this. I know wards are a thing, but I absolutely hate not knowing whats 2 feet beside me. Or if a fight breaks out around the walls the fight continuity gets broken because everyones sight is always disrupted. Its so frustrating to have a wall that I can barely strategize around because I cant see anything near or beyond it. This was one of the things I liked most about legacy, and I like it about daybreak too.

-I like river buff being around red/blue buff in the jungle, along with new things like speed flowers and gold flowers. It gives the players more variety. I especially like some of the hidden gold flowers playing support as teammates sometimes ignore them, but as a support ill happily, or have the time to, go out of my way to get some extra cash. Us supports are kinda broke ya know ):

-I like the teleporter placement. They arent smack dab in lane but are positioned in tactical places that can be leveraged if utilized correctly.

What needs worked on, although I do understand this maps a rough draft and not complete:

-Jungle sight lines are too far. It almost felt impossible to sneak around there due to how far everyone could see from most positions. Im not necessarily saying the layout is bad, but it needs to be more like Legacy/sanctuary where there's less vision and more places to hide or sneak around undetected

-Jungle feels too open. Im specifically using "open" here because big isnt the right word. Its size feels alright. However just like the line of sight, some areas in the jungle feel too simple and too big.

-I dont like the "caverns" left and right of mid lane. They are too straight, open, and long. Its a great idea, and I like the concept, but it feels like too hard of a commitment and with too little options once you commit.

-I need to know where exactly the teleports drop you in the jungle on the minimap, or if its random what potential areas. I knew it was gonna drop me in the jungle somewhere but I hated having absolutely no idea where exactly I was going.

-Needs more paths for heroes with limited verticality/mobility. An "issue?" I see with this map is sometimes it enforces verticality or mobility far too often in ways a lot of heroes cannot traverse at all. I get thats part of the point, but my point is those heroes dont really have any decent alternatives besides walk around a mountain. The map design needs to be more like Legacy where there's plenty of normal pathing around the map, but at the same time plenty of extra paths vertical or mobile heroes can take advantage of if they play their cards right.

-Less of a map thing but I still feel like armor/health should have little impact on tower damage, and towers should hit really hard regardless. Building up some health/armor then going on a tower diving spree is still a problem.

Last but not least: Please o pleaseee being back legacy as a permanent map.

Anyone know where to find CV Axle Shaft Seal for 2017?

Needing to replace CV joints and of course need to replace the CV axle seal with it, and they do not come with the axles. Cant really seem to find this seal anywhere where its labeled compatible with 2017 Leaf. Does anyone know? Has anyone replaced their CV axles before?
