Penne in vodka sauce pizza

Homemade pasta and vodka sauce on sour dough pizza crust. Finished with olive oil, basil, and Parmesan. Requested from my daughter. We'll worth the effort!

Brewed an IPA and used jungle yeast for the first time.

Yesterday I brewed an IPA and let it cool over night. Around 10 this morning I pitched cellar sciences jungle yeast, first time using it. Checked on it earlier and it had some action. By 5 pm a full head of krausen has formed. Was told it could be finished in 72 hours, I believe it.

Zoi pi peppers

First time growing zou pi peppers. I always sample my peppers when they first ripen. It says they are around the heat of a jalapeno, they are definitely hotter. They have a delicious fruit flavor but that heat kicked in and stayed for a bit. Was hoping they were jalapeno hot, just to add to salads and the like. Saying that, they are delicious and I'll grow them next year. Wife won't eat them raw.

Edit: Phone corrected zou to zoi. Didn't catch the title till after I posted.

Dragon fruit finally bloomed tonight.

First bloom in my dragon fruit. I bought it from Home Depot. Unfortunately I think it's a self sterile variety. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Second harvest from this plant. Fermenting some for hot sauce, dehydrating the rest for powered. Still have a lot of green peppers waiting to ripen.
