Elongated Tendon…

Is there anyway to rebuild and strengthen the calf muscles if you healed “too long”. I’m pretty convinced this is my issue. My Gastrocnemius sits higher and is very small compared to my other leg.

I am 6 years post injury, I’ve had 2 surgeries with the last one about 2-2 1/2 years ago. My strength and push off is still limited as well as weak. I’ve seen 3 specialists and really have gotten nowhere.

I’m over this game

Some days I like this game, Other days I can’t stand it. This game seems to get worse every update. It’s constantly glitching and inconsitent. Then on top of that they keep rotating Duos. I prefer the pace of Duos much more than Solo or Quads.

I’m honestly ready for another game to come out. They’ve had all this time and nothing really has improved. I understand it’s a “free” BR game but I expected BF to have a much better product than COD(I don’t like COD either).

It’s just disappointing.

Sick of these refs

Never have I ever seen a fight called so quick for a guy who is in his own territory. Nazim got dropped for sure but these refs don’t even give someone a chance to recover, It’s crazy.

Best Boxers with ties to the Mafia

I know of the big names like Sonny Liston, Jake LaMotta, Primo Carnera that had involvement with the Mafia. Were there any guys that were actual mobsters?

I know the 1930’s-1960’s the Mafia had their hand in Boxing(fixing fights etc) but just want to learn more about this era.

Edit : You guys are awesome, Gave me plenty of names to deep dive and do some research into. I appreciate it!

Heavy bags(Muay Thai)

I’m due for a new heavy bag. Preferably one with a shorter chain or straps.

My current bag does the job but hangs a little too low as I can’t really throw any punches above nose level. And I can’t raise it anymore due to the strap length and my ceiling height. My bag is already strapped directly to the ceiling hook.

Any suggestions on bags? I don’t have a problem using a shorter bag if needed. Just need something to help not create bad punching habits(Throwing low).

FHL people…

I’ve had 2 Achilles surgeries in the past 6 years. I realize with the FHL transfer you lose the toe grip. I was wondering how anyone rebuilt their leg (Solelus muscle especially).

The inside of my lower leg just simply hasn’t rebuilt over the years I’ve been doing standing calf raises to seated and nothing has helped. Looking for exercises to really target this area.
