At the time, it just felt like another heartbreaking IPL finish. But looking back now, that 1-run loss was probably the exact point where Delhi Capitals lost control of their playoff destiny.

Just look at the qualification scenario they are staring down right now. It is rough.

DC needs to beat KKR.

LSG needs to beat PBKS.

MI needs to beat RR.

But the Net Run Rate math is where it gets completely ridiculous. Even if RR gets thrashed and loses by 110 runs against MI, DC will still need to beat KKR by a massive 139 runs just to surpass RR's NRR.

That just seems completely impossible for DC at this point. Are we officially faded?

I need to vent and see if anyone else is feeling the same way about this entire MS Dhoni saga.

First, the management gave us the 2 to 3 week injury excuse. Then, he was completely benched for the remaining games with zero transparency. Now, CSK is playing what is likely their last match of the season, and still no Thala in the playing XI.

It feels like the injury was just a convenient cover up to silently phase him out. If this is how an absolute legend bows out, the franchise has completely botched it.

Are they hiding something behind the scenes? Let me know your thoughts on this entire mess!
