
That David Miller innings might have quietly ended DC's season
At the time, it just felt like another heartbreaking IPL finish. But looking back now, that 1-run loss was probably the exact point where Delhi Capitals lost control of their playoff destiny.
Just look at the qualification scenario they are staring down right now. It is rough.
DC needs to beat KKR.
LSG needs to beat PBKS.
MI needs to beat RR.
But the Net Run Rate math is where it gets completely ridiculous. Even if RR gets thrashed and loses by 110 runs against MI, DC will still need to beat KKR by a massive 139 runs just to surpass RR's NRR.
That just seems completely impossible for DC at this point. Are we officially faded?
