Need reassurance (pregnancy scare)

So just to preface this, i do know there's always a possibility but I CANNOT be pregnant right now.

So I'm 17 and I've been missing my period for about 12 days which isn't unheard of for me since my period is irregular and highly susceptible to stress (which I've had a lot of given the circumstances).

The thing is, before i missed my period i gave my partner oral, then about 15 minutes later there was genital contact/grinding but 0 penetration and according to him no pre c either (he also reassured me the area was dry by that point). There was also some finger action after that.

Just typing this i know this paranoia is illogical but I'm SO SCARED I'm somehow one of those "medical miracles" that somehow defies statistical probability. Just my luck haha..

▲ 4 r/flu+1 crossposts

So kind of a weird question, but I can't find answers anywhere else. For some reason this year I decided not to take the flu shot, and coincidentally I have been getting sick every other month it seems (about 4/5 times so far) and the symptoms are exactly the same and more severe than my usual once or twice a year cold.

Lasting a whole week and definitely not allergies.

Now I know that the flu usually doesn't strike twice for a while, but this is the only year I have ever been this sick. And the flu shot is the only variable I can think of.

Is it possible that not taking the flu shot could be causing me to have this reoccurring illness?

Different strains perhaps? Or maybe it was shielding my immune system from something before?
