I’m from Brazil and have family in the UK. I’m thinking about buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend online and having it delivered to my family’s home in England. Since the exchange rate makes the pound seven times more expensive than the real, I’m looking for an engagement ring for £500 or less. I came across a store called The Diamond Store—what do you think? Has anyone bought from there? In Brazil—unlike in the Northern Hemisphere—the wedding band is more important than the engagement ring; the engagement ring is usually only worn on special occasions and otherwise kept safe, while the wedding band is the one worn daily. Do you have any recommendations for good-value stores for wedding bands as well? Thanks!
