Yearning for siblings 😭

After reading and / or watching The Outsiders, have any other only children yearned for siblings ? I absolutely loved the dynamic between the Curtis brothers, and there were many other characters who were mentioned to have siblings, like Two-Bit and Tim Shepard. Even Dally and Johnny,— who have notably distant or strained relationships with their family, share a bond that’s often referred to as “brotherly”.
As a disabled only-child who has dealt with isolation quite a bit, I absolutely started yearning for the sibling-ship which was so prominent in both the film and book. Does anyone else feel the same ?
And for people with siblings; do you relate to any of the portrayals of siblings? If both of you watched / read The Outsiders, did it change how you viewed each other?

Bands or artists that use keytar / keyboard ?

Hi, I’ve been wanting to make my own punk music (I make music, but have never labeled it as punk), but I don’t have access to electric guitar. My main instrument right now is the keytar, and usually I just distort it to make it sound guitar-esque, but I’ve been wanting to open my mind to doing more with it.
Are there any punk bands / artists who frequently use keyboards / keytars which would be a good source of inspiration for me ?? Thanks ‼️

I’m a legally blind High school student, AMA

Hello ! I’m sixteen F and have been legally blind since birth. I can’t see at all out of my right eye and can only see up to two metres in front of me from my left (excluding text, which I have to get up close to view).
Since I can still see, I go to a regular High school. I enjoy music, drawing (yes, I can draw), and writing.
Not sure if this matters, but I’m also a level one autistic, who’s been diagnosed with social anxiety since about 12-years-old, and I frequently get bullied (primarily for my disability). Ask me anything !

Sneaking Johnny Cade into my art assignment !!

Does anyone have suggestions on who I should do for the other two ?? The project’s theme is “nostalgia”, if that matters.

Hi !! I’m 16 and have been into the politics, fashion and music for years, but have only ever gone to one all-ages gig. I’m disabled and live about forty minutes away from the city, and the suburb I live in is really conservative. I go to protests when I can, but my parents are strict about it, since I’m disabled, and the city is too far away for their liking.
I don’t know any other punks, or have any alt friends.
I’ve sang and made music, but the only place I’ve been sharing that is online, and the people at my school who’re into similar music styles are, ironically, all more right-leaning and genuinely really rude. From what I can tell, every gig in my area is also 18+, as well.
My best bets right now are to join this socialist group in my area, and get a busking license to potentially create my own scene. But, where should I go from here, would this work out, and are there any other suggestions you guys have ? Thanks so much !
