For jobs in academia/research in institutes, which are giveaways a job adv is tailored for an internal hire?

I am applying for post-doc or research assistant jobs in Melbourne, in insitute such as WEHI, PeterMac, MCRI, etc. However, most adv are on when they already have the person for that job. To save time, I am trying to recognise them so I avoid wasting too much time customising my cv for those if the chances of getting the job are low (I am still gonna apply just putting less effort in)

Any tips from people inside those institutes?

Someone told me that if they are on job platforms such as SEEK, than they are real. However, I disagree, I think the adv gets to those platforms regardless.

Submitting thesis 7 months after your completion seminar

How much is melbourne uni strict about the rule of the completion seminar in the last 6 month before your thesis submission?

Would they make you redo the seminar even if you are just 2 weeks over the deadline?

Or approximately is fine

Boxing gloves too loose for my wrist, especially the second glove I put on

Does anybody know how to make boxing gloves tighter on the wrist without needing other people's help?

I have the velcro ones and I can only put my first glove on decently, when I put the second one it always stays so loose that I can take it off by just sliding my hand out.

Is it just too big for my wrists? If I ask for help it can go a little tighter but we need to take them on and off about 7 times during training cause of mitts and I don't wanna ask for help each time. Any tips?

Is it normal that the coach doesn't check people while rolling?

Hi, I am coming from a striking background, where 2 coaches look at the class while sparring to correct technique and give feedback and most important they check that nobody goes too hard and even stop you if they see that happening.

I've noticed that in bjj our coach (Brown belt) rolls as well during sparring and there is nobody supervising or looking at people's rolling. Is that normal or just my gym?
