looking at thanksgiving trip and want to be close to woodward action park as we went two thanksgiving's ago and our girls loved it and it was super family friendly. however- we stayed in hotel in salt lake city and took the drive over...so the goal is to be closer to park city and in a nicer hotel...from my research i have found:

1. waldorf astoria - park city

2. westgate- park city

3. stein erikson (higher end)

what would you recommend / or any feedback is appreciated

Another company in same field on other side of state started out with 6 vehicles, sold out to private equity and now has 20 vehicles and supposedly now doing their first 10 million month

How did / do they do it - loans loans loans??? And how long does it take to pay those loans back to break even and start making profit
They have to change their entire business model - cause now more vehicles / cost , insurance gas maintenance , more employees - payroll and processing fees and workers comp and what not
Office expenses - marketing , staff , insurance , taxes , etc etc

These companies drive up the costs of all marketing

And even Nextdoor which got leads has now moved to charging businesses 179$ month to be able to reply / respond to neighbors looking for someone

Do you enjoy wine or beer or cocktail at home even tho you live with someone who struggles with it?
Or do you completely stop because having it around them triggers ….

It’s always the summer heat. He works a trade job. Every summer it’s rough and he slips. Can always tell…. No phone calls during the day. Picks up 1 time and can tell by the way he’s talking that he’s slipped. Hangs up. Doesn’t respond to any calls or texts. Just ghosting - don’t know if / when he’ll come stumbling home… lately it’s thru the backyard side gate. It’s so hard setting boundaries and defending him. Refuse to answer work calls, not covering for him anymore. He missed the last two clients. Got to figure out what to tell the kids when they ask where or why he’s not home yet.
Than …. Tomorrow. He’ll pick it up in the morning because he hates feeling like crap… and than it’s tomorrows clients … whose going to tell them? Is he driving ? Am i going to get calls from the phone # on the work truck … people saying he’s driving erratic. So exhausted.

we are a small family plumbing company, originally started with only word of mouth

in 2025 we secured our office/warehouse space, 2 work vehicles

in 2026 office, 3 work vehicles, service titan, marketing increases, etc

additionally between 2024- present, we began our marketing adventures - (currently on our fourth team now and is working well), as well as other marketing ventures - meta ads, nextdoor ads, angis, yelp, etc

2026 withdraws for reference include: office expenses (rent, utilities, service titan), phones, marketing, personal salary, insurance, vehicles, mentorship, gas, supplies/materials/parts, google advertisement, employee / day labor pay
