Beginner looking for advice on my first racket 🎾
Hi! Newbie to tennis here, with around 3 coaching sessions pa lang. My coach pushed me to join the intermediate class this Sunday, so I was hoping to get some practice in on my own before then.
I'm thinking of getting the Adult Tennis Racket Kuikma Easy from Decathlon since it's pretty affordable and I don't want to break the bank while I'm still figuring out if I'll stick with tennis. I'm also pretty petite and I've noticed that I tend to prefer lighter rackets during practice.
I'm not really sure where to start when it comes to buying my first racket though hahaha
- Is the Kuikma Easy a decent racket for a beginner?
- How do I figure out what grip size I should get?
- Does Decathlon string it for you when you buy it, or does it come already strung?
- Do I need to worry about the grip right away, or can I just use whatever comes with the racket?
- How many balls should I get if I'm mostly just practicing on my own?
I'm trying to keep the racket + balls around ₱2k max for now.
Sorry for all the questions! Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you so muchhh!
