Keep me safe, please.

So I am currently sat in my car, charging it, after the day from hell. Husband hospitalised and baby hospitalised but later discharged (thankfully) after a fall. It’s early in the morning here and I am exhausted sat in a car park, running on pure adrenaline, fearing for my life a little bit. For context my husband is spending the night in hospital and we are on holiday but my car charge wouldn’t make it back. Can I have your best tips for keeping safe with a little one in the car?
Thank you!

Teething - 14 MO not eating much

Is it normal for a 14 MO to refuse food as their teeth is coming through? I’ve ended up giving them
Formula to try and give them some calories today!

She’s had some raspberries today and some porridge. She usually has that for first breakfast alone!

High steaks: slices and sides in 30° heat

Butter and herb boiled baby potatoes, pea and edamame in herbs and olive oil. Tomatoes and strawberries with olive oil, beetroot and steak slices in a garlic and butter sauce. Served with water in a sippy cup!

Full disclosure sippy cup hit the floor in less than a minute. No beetroot was eaten, but was harmed. Half the steak was eaten and chewed, the rest spat onto self and the floor. Edamame was preferred, so peas were thrown onto the floor. Potatoes were also sacrificed to the floor. Tomatoes squished and the strawberry devoured.
French bread and blueberries were then served.

Unintentional decoration

I just spent 40(ish) minutes walking around in 30 degree park heat trying to get my baby to nap. She is walking dependent, she depends on me to walk until she falls asleep. Rain or shine. Snow or this type of blazing heat. Hope that sets the scene.
Finally (finally!) got her down. Came inside like a war hero, gently placed her in crib and prepared for my reward: a cold shower and an ice cold can of Dr Pepper I’d been emotionally dependent on for the last hour.
Walked proudly into the bathroom holding it like the prize it was, towel in hand and then disaster… a beast like no other made itself known to me…(A wasp flew at me). I screamed (on the inside, as to not wake the baby) and jumped back. The can hit the floor unopened, but apparently under enough pressure to qualify as a natural disaster. Dr Pepper exploded EVERYWHEREEEEEE. Ceiling. Walls. Bath. Sink. Radiator. Towel. Baby monitor. Probably inside my soul.
Waspie is lurking somewhere in the house. Bathroom has just been cleaned, well enough I hope. Baby is soon to be awake. No Dr Pepper for me.
Anyway, motherhood is beautiful x

Baby curls?

Hi everyone,
I’m a very confused mum looking for some curly hair advice for my 13 MO.
Her hair is blonde, straight on the top, but it’s starting to go curly/wavy towards the bottom, and I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. My own hair is extremely straight…the kind where curls fall out within an hour no matter what you do…so this is very new territory for me!
My husband has curly hair, but his curls are super low-maintenance and just appear naturally after a shower, whereas I feel like my daughter’s hair might need a little more help or care as it grows. It’s blonde, fine but there’s lots of it.
I’d love any advice on: baby combs for mixed/ curly hair, wash routines (shampoo and conditioner), how often to wash, ways to encourage or protect curls, things I should avoid doing etc.
Also signs that her hair is actually curly and not just “baby waves’.
Basically, please explain curly hair care to me like I know absolutely nothing because I really don’t!
