Best upgrades forM80 guns?

I find myself in PvP against a lot of hornets and smaller fighters lately. I’m wondering what the best upgrade from stock Cf-557 Galdreen and rhino repeaters are. I am thinking a ballistic cannon like a deadbolt and a laser cannon like m6a but the firing rate is so slow maybe Gatlings are more effective.

Can Elevator repairman be a SC career?

It seems that a mighty 2SCU crate is too much for the freight elevators of Pyro. Maybe Elevator repairman is an unfinished game loop. Sort of like how CIG “software engineer” is a partially implemented skill set.
