I’m currently considering a new Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor (MY27).

MSRP is around €65,000, but after discounts I can get it for about €44,500.

The leasing offer is roughly:

• 60 months
• 15,000 km/year
• around €540 per month
• 0% interest
• no down payment

I really like the Polestar 2 visually, which is a big reason why it’s currently my favorite. But im also afraid, regarding this the last year of this P2

I’ll test drive it next week and get the full leasing paperwork afterwards.

Would you lease it, buy it outright, buy a used Polestar 2 instead, or choose another model?

Anything important I should watch out for regarding residual value, end-of-lease buyout or hidden costs?

The car has an MSRP of around CHF 61,000, but after current discounts, fleet discount and an additional dealer discount, I can get it for about CHF 41,800.

The leasing offer I was given is roughly:

• 60 months
• 15,000 km/year
• around CHF 506/month
• apparently 0% interest
• no down payment, as far as I understand

I’m planning to test drive it next week and will get the full written leasing offer afterwards.

My main question is whether leasing makes sense compared with buying the car outright for CHF 41,800.

I could also imagine buying the car at the end of the lease if the residual/book value is attractive. My thinking is that after 5 years and around 75,000–90,000 km, the car could potentially still be worth noticeably more on the used market than the residual value.

Would you lease it, buy it outright, or look for a used Polestar 2 instead?

Anything specific I should watch out for in the leasing contract, especially regarding residual value, buyout, mileage or hidden fees?

Mir gefällt der Polestar 2 optisch einfach sehr gut, deshalb ist er aktuell mein Favorit. Ich bin aber auch offen für andere Modelle, wenn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis deutlich besser ist.
Was würdet ihr machen: leasen, direkt kaufen oder lieber eine Occasion bzw. ein anderes Modell nehmen?

Gibt es beim Leasing etwas, worauf ich besonders achten sollte, vor allem Restwert, Übernahme nach 5 Jahren und mögliche Zusatzkosten? Da es bei effektiv 0% Leasing und möglicher Übernahme des effektiven Restwertes, eigentlich einfach ein abbezahlen ist. Natürlich spiele ich auch mit dem Gedanken Ihn zu kaufen, wäre viellicht auch nur das Klima Paket nützlich? Was ca. 3900 CHF / 4300 Euro sparen würde.

Nächste Woche mache ich zuerst eine Probefahrt und bekomme danach das vollständige schriftliche Leasingangebot.

Meine Hauptfrage ist, ob sich das Leasing gegenüber einem direkten Kauf für CHF 41’800 lohnt.

Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, das Auto nach den 5 Jahren zum Rest-/Buchwert zu übernehmen, falls dieser attraktiv ist. Mein Gedanke wäre, dass der Polestar nach 5 Jahren und etwa 75’000–90’000 km möglicherweise noch deutlich mehr wert ist als der Übernahmepreis.

Was würdet ihr machen: leasen, direkt kaufen oder lieber einen gebrauchten Polestar 2 nehmen?

Gibt es Punkte, auf die ich beim Leasingvertrag besonders achten sollte, z. B. Restwert, Übernahmepreis, Mehrkilometer oder versteckte Gebühren?
