Any one getting extreme increases in weight recommendations?

Previously, I've had a long standing bench pr of 100kgx1, and the app then suggested I do 110x3.

Similarly, I hit a recent pr of 40kg on dumbbell bench press for a range of reps, but next session, the app suggested I go up to 50kg for 4 reps.

Aren't these guide big jumps in weight?

Tone deaf - Doughnut day

Working in the Civil Service, and just had one of the generic company/directorate wide messages pointing out tomorrow is national doughnut day.

Attempting to be tongue in cheek, they stated this is a greate morale booster! But then go on to say:

"If your in the office, feel free to bring in your own donughts and send us a pic!"

.......

I've worked at numerous private sector companies that would treat employees (not that it was ever expected) with things like offering a donughts, pizza for lunches etc, but this feels a bit of a "we want to let you know it's a national donught day, but we aren't giving you any"

Why even bother pointing it out....

Great 'morale booster'

Edit: To clarify, I'm not expecting them to buy donughts for every one, more so that they point it out as a morale boosting event, but then tell you to bring your own in and to send them pictures of the donughts you bought. In my opinion, would have been better to just not point it out/ paint it as a morale booster.
