I am thinking about admission. I did not have high expectations from LPU. One of my relatives is working in philips. She told me that 4 students from LPU are doing internship in her company at 45k/month and PPO is 11LPA.

One of the students told that the placement was on campus and even companies like microsoft and amazon visit the campus every year.

It is kind of hard for me to believe as I personally thought that at max companies offering 12LPA visit the campus, all good placements are off campus. But the comment from this student (at philips) kind of shocked me...

Is this true? Because amazon and microsoft packages easily go upto 20LPA+

People using the OnePlus 15 long-term, how has your experience been?

Main things I care about:

• battery
• smoothness
• comfort
• camera vibe for casual/social media photos

Not really a hardcore mobile gamer.

Also curious how service/support has been in India recently.

Hello everyone. I am from Amritsar itself. I am considering GNDU for admission in Btech CSE this year. I wanted to ask about the college life in general, since there arent many clear cut yourube videos.
My parents want me to join here so I would be already missing out on hostel life if I join. Is the regular college life good?
Do clubs exist?
Is sports good?
I like to play guitar so are there any good annual fests when I can have a chance at performing?

This really matters to me a lot. Because ik that the average placements of the uni arent good. Will I atleast be able to have a good college life...

I couldnt find any negative review about this college until I visited quora, a few doubts that I have are:-

1. Mess food- I saw a picture of a cockroach in mess food. I do get that mess food in literally all college messes is below avg to avg. But is it that unhygenic?

2. Staff behaviour- I heard that the staff members, especially guards are very rude with you. They treat you like kids.

3. Room shifting- I heard your parents have to show up to college and help you move stuff when you shift room every year. Is this true?

4. Very strict curfew- I heard as soon as the clock hits 11 the guards start shouting at you to go to your rooms.

5. Strict checking- Whenever you enter the college your bag gets checked everytime. Your parents have to aproove whenever you leave/enter the college.

6. Very low internet speed (~700kbps)

7. Sports- sports is not as great as shown. Too many students and less number of nets for badminton and tables for table tennis.
