Gabapentin risks?

Has anyone had any adverse effects with gabapentin for your pups? My dog has IVDD I and was prescribed a lot of this medication. I did a quick search and saw a group on fb sharing a lot of negative information about the drug but I don’t believe just anything I read and wanted to check with this group.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Why does one of my dogs suddenly stop on walks and wants to go back home?

I have 2 sibling doodles, 7 y/o male and 8 y/o female. The female will stop randomly during our walks and want to go back home. She usually stops, almost freezes, looks around and sniffs then won’t budge unless I ask her if she wants to go home at which point she will excitedly turn around and try to make her way back. She will do her business though. Her poor younger brother wants to continue walking but sadly we usually cut the walks short.

Does she smell/hear something that scares her?
Is she just lazy and doesn’t like to walk?
Is it that her brother often tries to outdo her and walks in front of her?

I’m baffled at this behavior and I can’t seem to find the cause.

We have moved a lot for work and she’s always done this, so it’s not associated with a specific place.

Thank you for any information anyone can share with me!

How many summer classes are you all taking? Am I crazy to take this many?

Second career, previous bio major but don’t meet recency requirements. Aiming for ABSN next spring/summer. Forgot to add that I’m not working right now, have no kids.

-Micro - 8 weeks (overlaps with both summer semesters but not entirely)
-Dev Psych - 5 weeks (summer 1)
-Socio - 5 weeks (summer 1 but starts a week later)
-Chem 101 - 5 weeks (summer 2)
- Nutrition - 5 weeks (summer 2)

Have they decreased demand for doctors?

Have they led in lowering of doctor salaries?

Have they limited your scope?

I’m strictly asking how they impacted your jobs. Not whether or not they have harmed patients.

I’m not clinical. I do bench research at a large teaching hospital on the east coast and primarily work with other researchers and occasionally some doctors. For some reason this subreddit was recommended and after reading through dozens of posts, I can see that the general census here is that mid-levels are not liked.

Thanks in advance for any insight you all can provide!

Hi all! I’m a white American female in my late 30s. Is it safe to travel solo and join a tour once I arrive to Windhoek? Thanks in advance!
