How much did you pay?

I recently did a free assessment with a Croatian citizenship lawyer. I sent them my entire family tree and all the documents I’ve found myself. I already knew I appeared to qualify based on my own research, but I wanted the assessment to confirm that I was on the right track.
They confirmed that I do qualify, but their full-service quote is $12k

I know they do a lot of work and I don’t mind paying for professional help because, to me, getting Croatian citizenship is worth it. I was just honestly expecting something more like $7–8k, so $12k caught me off guard.

For those who have gone through Croatian citizenship by descent recently, what did you pay? Is $12k the going rate? Has anyone used a lawyer or service that was significantly cheaper? Has anyone done the whole process themselves?

I’m going to shop around a little before deciding, so I’d really appreciate any recommendations for lawyers/services you’ve personally used and what you paid. Just trying to get a feel for the going rate and make sure I’m not overpaying. 😅
**(**For reference, I’m in the U.S. and would be applying through the LA consulate.)

Thank you!

I don’t see any reviews on moon. But I have seen a few comments recommending her. Has anyone had any experience with her? And would you recommend her as a trusted seller? Let me know thank you! :)
