I got my baby some Miffy items from Target

So, I didn’t actually order the first set. It was sent to me by mistake, but they’re cute too! The second pic shows the onesies I ordered. I also got her a backpack. She isn’t ready for it yet, but I just hope she likes Miffy lol.

Second flat tire in less than a year 🫠

So, the first time I got a flat, I hit a pothole. But it wasn’t a normal pothole. It was basically a hole to the center of the Earth 😂

It happened on the afternoon of December 31, so I was screwed and had to get the car towed.
Now, less than a year later, I woke up to this. The tire just decided to give up on life overnight lol.
I know I definitely need to get a car jack and a spare tire. Lesson learned 😩

But now I’m wondering… are MINI tires actually that fragile, or have I just had terrible luck? 🫣

Spoiler Alert 🚨: Life and Death

I just finished reading Life and Death, and I was honestly devastated by the ending. I can only imagine Charlie’s pain. He finally had the chance to live with his child, only for him to die in such a terrible accident. He probably felt so guilty because he couldn’t stop Beau, even though we know it wasn’t his fault. As Beau’s father, he’ll probably live with that grief and guilt for the rest of his life. He was already such a lonely guy, and now he’s lost his only child. I really felt awful for him.

I know it’s a more realistic ending than Twilight, but it really hurt me. After finishing the book, I just couldn’t see Beau and Edythe’s happy ending because of all the pain they caused. Maybe if Stephenie had added another chapter, the ending wouldn’t have felt quite so heartbreaking.

I know Renée would also be devastated, but I can’t help focusing on Charlie because Beau was living with him at the time. He was alone, and I’m not really a fan of Renée anyway, lol.

What do you think about it?

I took the picture and then ran away lol

I went to a TJ Maxx outside of my area and finally spotted a lot of Miffy items, but I had just bought the cold cup and plush from the Starbucks collab, so I really didn’t need any of them. I already have a Miffy notebook that I haven’t even used yet, and some friends gifted my baby those sensory books, so we already have enough of those too.
Sometimes it’s hard not to overconsume when you find cute things, especially from a character you really like. But I always try to buy things I really need or that I know I will use, and not just store them. What do you think?

Shame on these scalpers

It hasn’t even been 24 hours since the release, and Poshmark is already full of resellers. I really hate these scalpers, the prices are ridiculous. Even the collab itself is overpriced, and these people are delusional. I hope no one falls for it and they end up losing money for trying to take advantage of others.

Found the last cold cup and lost my self control lol

I wasn’t planning on getting anything from the collab, especially after seeing the prices 👀 They’re definitely overpriced. But since I was already near a Starbucks, I decided to stop by and look around. I didn’t find the cold cup I wanted, so I left, but then I remembered there was another Starbucks inside the Ralphs behind it, so I thought why not give it one more try. Turns out they had one cold cup left, so I grabbed it. Then I saw the Miffy plush in the cute outfit and couldn’t leave it behind either lol. Was it expensive? Yes. Overpriced? Also yes. But honestly, buying little things like this once in a while for the excitement is worth it sometimes.
