I'll be visiting Brussels with 3 friends. We've been looking up information online, and there seems to be a lot of talk about safety in Brussels, especially around the southern train station. I am always a bit skeptical about these things, being from around Barcelona I've never felt the city was very unsafe, mostly just for tourists more susceptible to being pickpocketed or not knowing what areas to avoid.
The apartment we've found is around Cureghem, and I wanted to ask, is this area (and the general surroundings) unsafe? Should we take any special precautions aside from the typical not talking/looking/interacting with strangers, beggars or homeless people, and not walking around with expensive belongings exposed?

Poc més que el títol. Fot gràcia veure com prohibeixen als periodistes fer preguntes en castellà als jugadors, i els espanyols de cop es tornen els màxims defensors de les llengües minoritàries. Quina vergonya que no es puguin fer preguntes en la segona llengua més parlada als EUA, eh? I la llengua oficial d'un dels països hoste a més! Tant internacional que és el castellà.
A couple hours ago I updated the system through terminal (sudo dnf update), I saw a couple of kernel module updates I believe, which took quite a while. After that I rebooted my laptop. When I entered the latest version shown in GRUB, I entered my encryption password, then my log in password, and after that appears just a black screen. I have disabled secure boot (some reddit thread suggested trying that), but it didn't work, and when I power off the system the loading screen (laptop brand and fedoralogo) briefly flashes before turning off. I have also tried to enter the previous kernel and even the one before, but I get the same issue with all of them. Can I solve this? If the solution is to do a reinstall, is there a way to backup my data first?
I'm looking to switch from Ubuntu to Fedora. Ideally I'd like to use KDE Plasma to try something different from GNOME (which I enjoy using), but to me it's very important to sort of keep the color palette consistent throughout the system. I've tried KDE Fedora on a live USB and tried making some customisation, but I cannot find a dedicated gruvbox/warmer colored theme like there is in GNOME. Does anyone use this styling and can recommend some theme or similars? Will I find anything that is consistent throughout the system?
