so much forehead yet so little thoughts

A video from a better angle where I am holding the top thread taunt. You can see the first time it goes down it doesn't catch at all, and the second time it does but it gets caught on something and doesn't pick up the thread but I cant pull it out either and have to cut it out. It wasn't like this before it got serviced :,)

it gets half way and then the thread gets stuck and if I keep going it gets jammed. ive tried taking out the bobbin and all the peices down there and I cant tell what its getting stuck on. occasionally it'll work but then it gets caught again on the first stitch I do.

Not sure if this is normal or not :,)

Edit: thank you to the people who have helped I realized I can turn the inner part of the hand wheel to disengage the needle moving part!
