Guilt about needle stick

The clinic I work at has the typical 2-poke rule for blood draws. Sometimes this ends with the patient being poked what feels like an excessive amount? I'm curious how other clinics handle this.

Today I had a cat in for an annual exam. We did 2 vaccines, a cysto, and it took 4 pokes to hit a vein..... Obviously it's not pleasant, I wouldn't like being poked 7 times in one day. I go home and I can't help but ruminate about these guys. I know this is something I'll have to deal with in the field sometimes, but I feel like it happens a lot where I work.

Tips on how you guys deal with guilt about anything work-related is appreciated.

New here, need shaping advice!

I don't currently use any products on my nails. I've been growing them out for a few weeks and I'm really struggling with the shaping part. I'd like a more almond shape but for some reason it doesn't look right to me. My nail beds feel wide to me, and my index finger grows in a different shape from the others. Any tips are appreciated!

DDMP Question (MD)

I am currently being monitored after a DUI over a year ago. I live in a different county from where I got the charge. I will be needing to relocate in the next few months, possibly to another county depending on what I can find. I know I need to run all of this by who I am reporting to, but I like to know what to expect lol

Does anyone know how involved the process is? How likely I am to be approved? I haven't had any violations and I'm currently "unsupervised". Would I be reassigned to another officer in that county? Or is there a way to stay with the same lady I am with, as she's been super easy to communicate with. It's a long shot, but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

DDMP Monitoring Question

I am currently being monitored after a DUI over a year ago. I live in a different county from where I got the charge. I will be needing to relocate in the next few months, possibly to an entirely new county depending on what I can find. I know I need to run all of this by who I am reporting to, but I like to know what to expect lol

Does anyone know how involved the process is? How likely I am to be approved for relocation? I haven't had any violations and I'm currently "unsupervised" and don't directly report each month. Would I be reassigned to another officer in that county? Or is there a way to stay with the same lady I am with, as she's been super easy to communicate with. It's a long shot, but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Chocolate Fix game

I have the game Chocolate Fix by thinkfun and I very quickly worked through the 40 cards that came with it. Is there an option to purchase more, or someone that's created their own? I have an expansion pack for Rush Hour and thought maybe there was something similar.
