Advice on clearance to rafter

Hi all - I'm looking for advice on how to increase clearance through our cathedral ceiling by about 1/4" on one side of our Class A chimney pipe.

The situation: Clearance is 2+" except one side, where it's about 1 1/2" clearance. Our contractor installed the chimney through our cathedral ceiling using manufacturer's instructions and provided spacing plate. Since we have a standing seam roof (trying to avoid cutting through seams) and 24" on-center rafters, they had to cut in a particular spot. They created a makeshift box out of corrugated metal and high-temp HVAC tape. However, I guess it isn't a full 2" on one side (the left-hand side in the photo). Behind the corrugated metal is the wood rafter (this also concerns me because the two are touching and conductive heat can be dangerous; I know it really should have 1" air gap between metal and wood).

More details about the use-case: this is a 300 sq ft space, the ceiling exit is at about 11ft high (straight up), and this is a 4kw tiny stove. It will be used for 3-4 days at a time a few times throughout the winter (it is not a full-time living heat source).

I'm thinking we either remove the corrugated metal on that side to try to achieve more space, or some other solution. Do experts on this have ideas on how to rectify this and create slightly more clearance on that side? Thank you.

Wrap Longevity?

I know Slate is developing their own custom wrap facility. Typically, a quality wrap (expensive) can last 5 years, maybe a few more if treated like a show car. Most look good for 3-5 years.

I'm wondering what Slate's long term plan is once the production wraps start to fail on the vehicles? I can't imagine owners will want to pay thousands to get a new wrap.
