lebanon unis or turkey?

ello, in lebanon im mainly going for aub or usj, maybe bau too but ive heard unis is turkey are more affordable than in leb in case i dont get a scholarship so im wondering if studying in turkey wouldnt be a bad idea (plus no visa hurdles unlike for france)? idm learning turkish in case i have to, im mainly thinking ahead in case i want to continue my studies abroad at some point and if war keeps destabilising lebanon every year. i dunno just would like to hear from lebanese who have studied there since i keep getting mixed opinions!

how r foreign curriculum grades calculated

not necessarily aub only but other lebanese unis as well, but mainly for aub; would a 15/20 (around 70/100) in IGCSE be considered the same as a 15/20 in the lebanese programme?

am I a (beep) for ghosting my friends?

I want to start with my personal reflection, I think ignoring them entirely (no words, nothing) after a 6-5 years friendship definetely counts as rude. I feel like I took this decision on impulse, to some extent. Basically, it was the kind of long-term friendship that doesn't feel like one exactly, it was more as if we sticked together out of convenience since we come from a similar-ish background, we shared no interest whatsoever, we'd never even gone out together, never spoke to each other except during lunch at school (we're currently in year 12.) There was a point where being with them was exhausting and I still felt like a loner despite technically being with "friends." One of them had this habit of insulting you and going "it's just a joke." Which I was OK with for the first few times, but then it started bothering me with how continous it was. I have no idea how to explain it though the friendship was also unpredictable somedays, I wouldn't know whether she'd be in "kind" mode or nope, I just had to get to school and see how I'd be treated. When I spoke it was as though nobody was really engaged/listening. The other friend wasn't anything like her though. I don't regret my decision but I'm an itty bit conflicted, obviously it's been a week of my ghosting so I'm pretty convinced they've talked behind my back (got called a b**tch) about it already and explaining myself is pointless. There's more I wanted to rant about honestly, that's what I managed to get out dunno!!!

*I forgot to add that the friendship low-key gave me trust issues and fear of judgement

should I take chemistry HL?

I feel like it'd be risky since I'm already taking maths and physics HL, as a definetely-not-mathematically-gifted-student and from what I've seen here, it's a super duper difficult combo, but my profs haven't discouraged it much. For ref, I don't plan to apply to UK unis which I know are stricter with their requirements, I just want to study physics / chemistry to hopefully end up in an astronomy-related field and was wondering if unis in France (such as Sorbonne specifically) and Belgium strictly ask for chemistry HL (I'm taking it at SL) if I end up wanting to study more chemistry than physics?
