When I configure Windscribe to use my Control D API for its DNS, I find that certain ads in my iPhone apps that were blocked on Windscribe alone are showing up when Windscribe is linked to Control D. I am unable to figure out why; I would have thought that R.O.B.E.R.T.’s settings would override what’s coming from the DNS settings, but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

I’m using all the strictest native and third party ad blockers in my Control D setup, but apparently theirs are less thorough than R.O.B.E.R.T. Is there a way to keep my Control D API but also use the settings from R.O.B.E.R.T?
