Owners who've had them for 40+ years, how did you do it?

Looking for some advice, because I want my baby to live long, strong and healthy. I want him to live his lifespan to the fullest!

What are some things you did that allowed them to live that long?

How often is a healthy amount to talk to your partner? 18F and 18M

I (18F) and my boyfriend (18M) have been dating for 6 months. We were best friends prior for about 2 years or so, but after we started dating, we've been talking less. I've been so used to talking very often, that now, it makes me feel empty and sad when we Don't talk a lot. Especially since I actually have feelings for him now.

It's not his fault, though. He texts me when he can, but unfortunately, that's just about < 2 hours a day. He's often out because of his family, and since he has two families, the times theyre out happen to be the times he visits them. I wouldn't want to stop that of course, but its been hurting me to have some small talk at noon when he wakes up only gor him to leave shortly after and text me at night again.

We've talked about this before, and he said he'll make more tine for me by texting me a little when he can throughout the day, but for me who wishes to talk to Jim a lot and who missed talking throughout the day, it doesn't feel enough or sufficient. I also think I need more hobbies, but even if I keep myself busy, I feel a slight resentment for how little he talks to me when he IS back.

He hasn't been able to make time for his hobbies either, because he uses his free time to text me. He loves playing games, and he wants to do that. I told him he can if course, but... if he does do that, he'd end up talking to me less. I reslly don't know what to do.

I would like to hear your thoughts or some advice on how to deal with this :( none of this is his fault but it doesn't feel nice either not talking a lot. Or maybe, this is a normal healthy amount? Please feel free to Diss me too LOL I would like to work on being a healthier and better partner.
