I've heard and have been using "നേറ്റിക്ക്ഇടുന്നത്' or നേറ്റിക്ക് ഇടുക for clothes that we wear casually at home....most probably from the word "nighty'....any other expressions from anywhere else?.... I'm frm around Chalakudy, Trsr....is this used anywhere else?

Tamil has "iyarkkai".....

in thrissur slang we often say

പൂര തെരക്കാർന്ന് (too crowded)

പൂര മഴ (heavy rain)

പൂര വെയിൽ (really sunny)

പൂര തെറിയായ് (started swearing)

etc.

poorams got something with this usage?...are they specific to thrissur slang?...got any more...

I have these chats with my kottayam frnds and whenever I drop an "eyy" they don't get the meaning...is it not widely used there?
