I know its only Tuesday but here is something worth looking forward to this weekend!

If you couldn't make it last week come check out a painting sale at the famed Hotel Chelsea this Saturday October 11th. The hotel is gorgeous and its been restored to its 1885 glory. Worth a peek inside and more importantly its worth supporting a local NYC artist.

Artist Gerald DeCock will be opening his unique apartment to sell some of his reasonably priced paintings, 22 of which also hang in the hallowed halls of the hotel, along with pieces from other famous and infamous artists who lived there during the hotel's heyday.

The door will be open from 12noon until 5pm, Room 1014, on the 10th floor, make a left off the elevators.

Hi neighbors, artist Gerald DeCock will be opening his gorgeous and unique space at the Hotel Chelsea where he has lived for 32 years to everyone who wants to consider seeing his art and visiting.

Come say hi by between 12noon and 5pm, Room 1014, on the 10th floor, make a left off the elevators. The walk down the stairs is epic with so much art from resident artists current and past.

Hi neighbors, I am working with Gerald DeCock, an artist who has lived at the hotel for over 30 years, he is an artist and we organize a sale in his beautiful apartment nearly every Saturday.

Ironically the hotel that sells itself on its history of supporting artists is trying to evict a 67 year old artist.
