Has anyone had an OrangeTheory treadmill suddenly go to 15% incline on its own?

During today’s 0.25-mile benchmark, I set the speed to 12 mph, waited for it to ramp up, then hit Clear Screen. A few seconds later, the treadmill started going to 15% incline while I was running at 12 mph, and I had to jump onto the rails. It really sneaked up on me because I was wondering why is this getting harder this early!

I’m wondering if I accidentally hit the 15 incline button while clearing the screen or if it was a treadmill glitch.

It threw me off during the first block, so I skipped the benchmark. Thankfully my coach encouraged me to give it another shot in the second block, and I’m glad she did because I ended up setting a new PR of 1:15!

FMLA Equivalent in Canada

I work for AWS in Ontario. Is there something equivalent to FMLA in Ontario/Canada that allows me to take paid time off till October 15th, so I can get my last vesting and then leave for good? Thanks in advance.

I’ve poured my soul into this job, I find a lot of meaning doing it, but I am being treated unfairly by my managers unfortunately. I need the time to regroup and reflect while looking for a new role somewhere else.

Remote Jobs

I am exploring opportunities (I am a cloud and AI Engineer), and I have found a few interesting opportunities at RBC. I am wondering if remote is an option at RBC? Thanks in advance.

Help with Claiming a Gift Card

My coworker sent me a $50 gift card to my work email. I deleted the email by mistake, and I don’t have an uber account created for this work email. How do I claim this gift card?

I contacted Uber Support on my personal Uber account. I got the same irrelevant answer 3 times in a row. Looks like garbage AI response.

Appreciate your help.

I just received a call from Rogers about suspicious activity on my account, and I’m trying to figure out if this was legitimate or a scam.

According to the Rogers rep on the phone someone successfully logged into my Rogers mobile account
They changed my home address to one in another province.
They attempted to finance an iPhone today but this was intercepted and blocked by Rogers.
Then the Rogers rep said she wanted to look further a d then she said that there was also a successful in-store purchase of a SIM card for internet by someone impersonated me with value of (~$100)
She told me: I would be credited for the fraudulent line
My account would be disabled for 24 hours
I’d get a call tomorrow to re-enable it
Then things got weird:
She suggested setting up MFA (multi-factor authentication)
I agreed, but she said she had to set it up for me
She said I’d receive an notification on my Google app to complete it using Google Authenticator where I would give her the two digits that would show on the Google App. I refused because this didn’t make sense and made me question her! She said I couldn’t do it myself, but she didn’t get pushy and said you can set it up when you get your account reactivated in 24 hours.
Additional details:
The emails I received do appear to come from Rogers’ official domain
I also received a legitimate-looking sms confirmation about removing the new line although it says Koodo not Rogers.

My questions:
Does this sound like a legitimate Rogers call, or could this be a sophisticated scam? I called Rogers back to confirm but the estimated wait time is over 120 minutes!!!

The caller mentioned this might be related to a breach of my password manager. I’ve checked my bank and major accounts and don’t see anything unusual so far.
What steps should I take right now to secure my accounts and prevent identity theft?
