A small message for leads and managers

Hi leads and managers,

I am working in industry for 5 years now, and I can say that i have seen different kind of seniors, leads, peers, managers. Few were supportive, collaborative, good mentors, and approachable people but on the other hand I have seen the most disgusting people as well.

There are leads and managers who:

  1. Create fake urgency of work

  2. Micromanages

  3. Pin points mistakes and play blame game without coming to any solution

  4. Wants employees to butter them and keep them happy

  5. Shouts like roadside dogs and keeps on shouting until you beg them to stop

  6. Makes fun of you just to show how funny they are

And I just want to address this post to all them.

Please understand that you are working with humans, they are grown up adults with a life and something that you may not be aware of. If you are bored and need drama and spice in life, go and watch serials or focus on your own life rather than pulling others down and behaving like a roadside dog barking screaming shouting.

As a lead senior manager, learn how to deal with different people before actually handle them. Learn psychology, kindness, basic human decency.

Many might say that 'thats how corporate works', but why do you want to pass on toxicity of corporate? Why are you doing insecure to help and let other grow? Why can't you be a human first then an employee? Since decades these saga of toxicity continues and if you are in position to change it, please show empathy, kindness, practice how to listen to people, be approachable and a human first.

This world is anyway ruined with so much hatred. So, don't ruin it more. :)

So many openings of DE DA

I am currently looking for DE or Sr. DA role. I have 5 YOE in analytics engineering. What is bothering me is I see so many random job openings but how many are actually hiring? I even got interview calls for irrelevant roles but the HR was manipulating me into believing that it's in DE but clearly it's not. Please suggest what can I get genuine openings?

I am trying Naukri resume display service and Linked premium.

What's wrong with ZS employees, why so arrogant and toxicity

Hi all,

Just want to know what's wrong with ZS employees in healthcare analytics? Why so much arrogance and rude behaviour towards other people. I am feeling so frustrated and drained working with these folks even from their client counterpart.

Are they human?

Data Engineering vs Machine Learning Engineering, which is better for building a long stable career

I am into analytics engineering and learning ML to move for MLE roles. Pls advice if ML will be good for long run, or should I go for DE and keep ML engineering as a option.

Type of company to join

At my company, leadership is visionless and they are adding AI in everything without any direction. Most projects are just POC projects. And they are doing to probably use contractors or vendor companies to build if anything required.

In this scenario, which type of companies should aim for? Product based or service based?

Note: I am in data analytics for 5+ years

Hi all,

I know ML algorithms and can work until creating the .pkl file and API locally.

But I want to learn beyond that. I am confused on many terms like feature stores, CI CD etc and need guidance.
