This was given to me on recommendation to help with my cat’s dandruff issue that she just developed. But…Isn‘t garlic toxic to cats? Why on earth would it be a primary ingredient in this product specifically for cats as well as dogs?? Is it only toxic in higher doses?

I see this has been previously discussed but I can’t really find a definitive answer, here or on the products reviews. I guess I’ll call my vet and ask, but curious to get some feedback about it here as well.

28 lb “Australian cattle dog,” she definitely exhibits heeler traits like herding and nipping when playing with other dogs, but her personality otherwise is way more submissive and cuddly than heelers I’ve known. Also she’s kinda spindly with long skinny legs and tiny feet. HATES water. Loves couch. Absolute sweetheart with other dogs, cats and all human. I’m considering doing a DNA test.
