hey guys,

i have bought a thermalright peerless assassin 120 mini black, cuz i need to swap it for my old cpu cooler (which was too weak)on my acer predator p03-650 with an i7-13700F. the issue i have is that the original backplate of the motherboard (which is LGA 1700) features these silver mounting posts. the spacers which came with the new fan, dont fit on these posts. are there any adapters for this or do i need to take the whole motherboard out and change the backplate to the one thats delivered with the fan?

i kinda hope there are adapters for this, cuz im scared to take out the entire motherboard because its a prebuilt.

Hi Guys,

is it normal that my Intel i7-13700K is at 90 degrees whem i only have discord open? i have a predator p03-650 and its a normal cpu cooling fan running at 1300 rpm. if i accelerate my fans to almost 4000 rpm, the temperature goes down to about 73 degrees. if i put my fans back at normal spees it heats up quickly.

what should i do, cuz i obviously cant play games with this.
